Woodstock Hockey 2011
Woodstock School Hockey is for Years 2 - 6 children. The hockey season runs from
• Saturday 7th May until Saturday 10th September for 6 a side teams
• Saturday 7th May until Saturday 17th September for 8 a side teams.
Practice times will be set by Coaches/ Managers. More information about Hockey Uniforms and Hockey Fees will follow in another newsletter.
We will need a Manager and Coach before any team can be registered. The 8 aside teams must also provide an umpire; who is not the coach.
If you are interested in becoming a coach, or umpire, but don’t think you have the skills, training sessions for coaches and umpires are available as follows:
• Coaches – on Tuesday 3rd May: 6.00pm -7pm; to be held at the Gallagher Hockey Centre.
• 8 a side team Umpires - on Tuesday 3rd May: 6.00pm-7.00pm; to be held at the Gallagher Hockey Centre.
Any queries please contact Bronwyn Nicholas in Room 4 or Julia McCaughan in Room 2.
If your child wishes to play Saturday morning hockey in a school team please fill out the form your child brought home and post this form in the box at the school office no later than Thursday 31st March.
