Conservation
Week Celebrations
The children from the Kauri Syndicate have been invited to
attend a tree planting event in our local Ranfurly Gulley during Conservation
Week.
We have had the wonderful opportunity over the year to work
alongside Mr Gerard Kelly from the Waikato City Council, one of their Community
Planting Co-ordinators. Mr Kelly has
given us valuable advice about our harakeke project.
On Monday 2nd September, we have being invited to
our community park, where Mr Kelly will share with us more valuable information
to help us with our Enviro-based learning.
We will walk across to the park at 11.00am. We will return to
school at 12.15pm. If you are able to
join us for our walk to and from the park, we would appreciate it greatly.
Please fill in the slip below and return it to school by
Thursday 29th August.
Thank you for your support,
Rachael Tangney, Rebecca Low and Anna Crawford
