Principal Appointment – Update

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am very pleased to announce that Mrs Jenny Mills has accepted the permanent position of Principal at Woodstock School, commencing 20 April 2015.

Jenny has considerable experience within the education sector.  She has taught in mainstream Primary Schools and in Special Education.  She has held roles with the University of Waikato as a Lecturer and Assessment Advisor.  Jenny has been our Deputy Principal at Woodstock since 2006.  She has stepped up on a number of occasions as the Acting Principal for our school.  She has also spent time with the Ministry of Education as a Senior Advisor focused on Education, Curriculum and Performance.  Jenny is well respected within the education sector for her pedagogical knowledge.  She has recently completed her Master of Educational Leadership and her dissertation is being submitted for publishing in an international educational journal.

Please join me in congratulating Jenny on her appointment.  The Board looks forward to working with Jenny as she transitions and takes over the Principal’s role.
