Principal Appointment Process – Update No.2
Further to my update last term, the Board has signed off on the following key dates for the Principal Appointment Process:
The advertisement is registered with the Education Gazette and appears on line.
31 October 2014
Applications close.
27 November 2014
Short listed applicants invited to attend an interview.
4 December 2014
Conduct interviews.
13 December 2014
The Board has begun preparing the Person Specification for the new principal and as per my previous update, we would value your input with identifying the critical qualities you believe would make for an exceptional educational leader within our school.  A big thank you to those who have already provided input so far. 
To meet the above timeframes we will be closing input from the community this Friday, 17th October 2014.  The Board will also be available in the School Hall from 2-2.45pm this Thursday, 16th October 2014 for parents or caregivers to provide any input on the Person Specification directly to the Board should you wish.  If you are unable to make this time we will still accept any input via email, or in writing.
