Grandparents/ Special Person day

Woodstock School would like to invite all Grandparents to our Grandparents Day so we can celebrate and share our learning.  As part of our Social Science Curriculum unit of study this term, each syndicate has focussed on ‘Celebrating 150 years of Hamilton’.  On Thursday 3rd July, from 9am to 12.15pm there will be a variety of activities for you to take part in and enjoy time with your grandchildren.

Feel free to come and wander around, take a look in the classrooms and see our learning from the term.

We encourage you to talk with all of the children.  As some children may not have a grandparent that is able to join us you may even like to ‘adopt’ another child for the day.
Enjoy a fun filled morning, and help yourself to a morning tea in the staffroom.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Should a grandparent not be able to attend your child may like to invite a special person e.g aunty or uncle.

Kind regards

Social Sciences Curriculum Team
