Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Talofa lava‘O la tätou gagana Sämoa i Niu Sila ‘Our Samoan language in New Zealand’
This week we celebrate the third most used language in NZ, the Samoan language. The theme of Samoan Language Week 2013 is "Fafaga fanau i upu ma tala. Tautala i lau gagana" or "Feed the children with words and stories. Speak your language".
Children have been busy this week doing activities around this theme. Our assembly on Friday will celebrate our Samoan Language week.
Tomorrow (Friday) we are re-arranging the timetable so that we can accommodate the visit of the Samoan performance group for Ham Boys High. The assembly time has been changed from 9am start to 12.30pm start.
