Netball Notice

Woodstock Netball 2011

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Please read if your child is interested in playing Netball for Woodstock School this year. Please take the time to talk with your child to ensure they are committed to being in a team for the entire season duration, before returning the information form sent home with your child.

Season Calendar:
Ø Year 6 teams play on Saturday mornings at Minogue Park. The Year 6 Netball season commences on the 7th May and finishes on the 27th August.
Ø Years 3, 4 and 5 teams play on Thursday afternoons at Minogue Park. The Years 3, 4 and 5 Netball season commences on the 12th May and finishes on the 25th August.

NOTE: Depending on team numbers please be aware that it might be necessary to combine the years 5 and 6 players into one team, playing on a Saturday. More information on this will become available once player numbers are confirmed.


Coaches and Managers:
With all sports at Woodstock school we rely on volunteers for the roles of coach and manager. Please indicate on the form below whether you would be available to assist us in this area. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Practice times will be set by coaches and managers. Practices can be after school or during school lunch times.

Indication of Fees:
An indication of 2011 Netball fees is approx $40.00 per player for the entire season. Fees include use of uniforms and association registration and levies. Please do not pay fees until you are invoiced from the school office and your child’s team has been finalised.
