Woodstock Welcomes the BNZ

Woodstock welcomed special manuwhiri today, staff from the BNZ as part of their 'Closed for Good Programme'.

Thank you BNZ for all your hard work at school today.  The staff and children of Woodstock School really appreciate everything you have done.

Children are required to bring the following for their photo

Soccer, Touch , Rugby and Hockey – Red socks, Black Shorts and Red Shirt. Boots are not required.

Netball – Full Uniform

Gymnastics – Boys – Black Shorts

Girls – Uniform Provided

Note:

To make changing quicker due to time demands, it would be appreciated if children can wear their black shorts under their trousers on Tuesday. Please do not wear anything that will be seen under the sports shirt.

If your child is required to wear a uniform for their photo please bring it in a named plastic bag or they will be handed out before the photo. These children will need to bring a named plastic bag to keep their clothing together.

Coaches / Managers:

If coaches / managers wish to be included in their team’s photo please advise the office.

The last day for ordering team photos will be 9am on the day the photos are taken.

Tuesday 24^th September.

(Make sure your Team name is stated)

Photograph envelopes have been given to your child.

Please do not ask for change at the school office.

Gully Planting

The children from Kauri Syndicate (Rooms 6, 10, and 11) have been busy planting native trees in our local Ranfury Gully as part of Conservation Week.

This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to work alongside Mr Gerard Kelly from the Waikato City Council, one of their Community Planting Co-Ordinators.

Daffofil Day

Thanks to everybody who donated money on Daffodil Day.  The children raised over $400 dollars for the Cancer Society and by the look of these pictures had lots of fun as well. Well Done Woodstock.  More photos can be found on the school website.
