DVDs of the production are available for the cost of $7.00.  These can be ordered by filling out the slip below and placing it along with the money required, in an envelope and putting it through the slot in the front office.  Please mark DVD Order on the outside of the envelope.  The DVDs will sent home with your child, unless you request otherwise.

Daffodil Day

 

On Friday, 28 August, it is Daffodil Day. At Woodstock School we are supporting the Cancer Society with this very worthy cause by having a dress-up day. Everyone is being encouraged to wear something yellow. There will be house points for those who join in the fun. We are also asking everyone to donate a gold coin which can be given to your child’s class teacher. The money collected will be sent in the Society to help people and families dealing with cancer.

Please give generously.

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Our production Little Red Rocking Hood is coming along nicely and we are getting very excited about performing it to you this week.  The children have been working hard as we put together the final touches.

For our Wednesday night performance you will need to have your child/children at school by 5.45pm.  Please take your child to the following rooms:

·         Room 7 students go to Room 1

·         Room 8 students go to Room 2

·         Room 9 students go to Room 3

Please bring your child partly ready for the performance by having their hair and makeup done (stage makeup is optional if you are happy for your child to wear it – girls lip gloss and eye shadow and boys gel for hair).  Girls will need pony tails or pigtails and boys any sort of 60’s hair style.  Their costumes will be at school for them to get changed into.

Once the performance is finished you will need to wait at the classroom you dropped them off at to take them home.  PLEASE do not take your child/ren without letting the teacher know.  This is important as safety of the children is paramount.

If for any reason you know that your child is unable to attend the evening performance, please let the classroom teacher know.
